Each bulb is a distinct point of color — the traditional Christmas-light silhouette, and a rich even wash when you run a solid color.
12 inches — the commercial standard, every install, no exceptions. Here's why it matters more than brightness.

Every Sparkled install uses 12" spacing — the industry standard for commercial Christmas lighting and the same spacing used in traditional string lights. On our permanent system, 12" gives the best of both worlds: the classic Christmas light feel at night, plus a continuous color wash along the wall during year-round use. Competitors use much tighter spacing, which ends up looking like a solid bar of light rather than individual bulbs. We believe individual bulbs look better — so 12" is it, every service, every home.

Bulbs merge into a continuous streak. Brighter on a spec sheet, but it reads as rope light, not Christmas lights.
Permanent, SmartClip and seasonal Christmas lights all get the same 12" treatment.

Spacing is half of what makes an install premium; the other half is the channel and concealed wiring. Both are part of every Permanent Christmas Lights install.

12 inches. It's the commercial Christmas lighting standard and the same spacing traditional string lights use — every bulb reads as an individual point of light. Some regions run 15" for seasonal work; the mistake is going tighter, not wider.
Tight spacing. Many permanent systems place bulbs 6–8 inches apart, and at that density the bulbs blur into a continuous streak — closer to rope light than Christmas lights. Once you see the difference at night, you can't unsee it.
No. 12 inches, every install, every service — permanent, SmartClip and seasonal. One standard keeps every install looking like the photos on this site.
