Budget-minded
The same lights and the same app as our permanent system, at a lower starting price. Nothing about the light itself is downgraded.
SmartClip LED Lighting — the same premium RGBW smart lights as our permanent system, mounted with patented InvisiClips. Built for budget-minded homeowners, renters and HOA neighborhoods.
I had a tight budget and they sent me an estimate and when done I paid way less… came home from work and had the most beautiful lights in the neighborhood.— Queen B., Roy, UT
SmartClip exists for homeowners who want real permanent smart lighting without the full channel investment — and for the situations where channel isn’t the right fit.
The same lights and the same app as our permanent system, at a lower starting price. Nothing about the light itself is downgraded.
Clips install without altering the fascia, so there’s nothing to explain to a landlord and nothing permanent left behind.
Low-profile clips tuck under the eaves with color-matched cable. From the street by day, there is very little to see.
Not sure this is the forever house? The system can come with you rather than staying behind as someone else’s upgrade.
SmartClip LED Lighting is installed with patented InvisiClips — a mounting system available only to certified authorized InvisiLights dealers like Sparkled. Made from UV-stable, impact-resistant plastic, SmartClips come in variants engineered for virtually any roofline — the same flexibility as traditional Christmas lights, but permanently installed with our RGBW smart LED pucks. Other permanent lighting installers literally cannot offer this system.
The SmartClip system is patented by the owner of InvisiLights. No other permanent lighting company can legally install it.
Sparkled Lighting is one of the first certified authorized InvisiLights dealers in the country — and the first dealer listed on InvisiLights’ own installer page.
Our founder is featured in InvisiLights’ national training program, teaching other installers across the country how to do this work correctly.
The RGBW LED pucks, the controller and the app are the same hardware we install on a full permanent system. SmartClip is a different way to attach them — not a cheaper light.
Installed at our 12" pro spacing standard, the same as every other Sparkled service — so every bulb stays a distinct point of color instead of blurring into a streak.
SmartClips mount the way traditional Christmas light clips do, with the cable color-matched to your soffit. It doesn’t vanish the way aluminum channel does — that is honestly the trade — but from the street it reads as a service line, not decoration.
Want the version that disappears completely? That’s color-matched aluminum channel on our Permanent Christmas Lights.
Every SmartClip and permanent install is controlled from myLights. Don’t take our word for how it feels. Tap the phone, change the colors, browse the displays — it’s the real thing, not a video.
Both services use the same RGBW LED hardware and the same app. Choose on mounting, budget, and how long you’ll be in the home.
Want the full channel story? Read about our color-matched aluminum channel, or compare everything on the Permanent Christmas Lights page.
Published up front, because you shouldn’t have to sit through a sales call to find out whether you can afford it.
Not the light. The RGBW pucks, the controller and the app are the same hardware we install on a full permanent system — the difference is patented clips instead of cut, color-matched aluminum channel, which is the expensive half of a permanent install.
Permanent runs $25–$30+ per linear foot; SmartClip runs $17–$21+. On a typical front-and-sides roofline that is roughly $1,500 back in your pocket for the same lights on the same house.
80–120 linear feet of roofline
140–200 linear feet of roofline
240–400+ linear feet — dormers, peaks, garage
What the per-foot rate does not include. The controller and any jumps — breaks in the roofline the cable has to cross — are itemized on your quote rather than buried in the rate. Seasonality and how many areas you light move the number too. Your exact figure comes from a free onsite measure, with no obligation.
Bob in Roy, Janice in Clinton, Shaylee in Tremonton, Kevin in Syracuse — and 96 others across Northern Utah. Same lights, same app, three steps: quote, walk-through, install.
One real Layton install, photographed in daylight with the system already on the roofline, then again after dark in solid blue. Slide between the two — the daytime footprint is the honest part of this page.

True story from this West Point install: while we were finishing up, a neighbor wandered over to chat and asked whether we'd be putting lights on the house — standing in front of a roofline that already had them. When we pointed at the clips, he had to step in close before he believed they were really there. That's the daytime footprint argument settled by an unpaid witness: from where a neighbor actually stands, SmartClip reads as no lights at all until you switch them on.
Think you'd have spotted them? Tap the photo and zoom in as close as you like — the clips are there, on every roofline.
This Clearfield home runs our permanent channel system — but the RGBW bulbs are identical to the ones SmartClip clips to your roofline. One evening, one homeowner scrolling looks in the app. Tap through a few.
