Who SmartClip is for

Premium smart lighting, without the full commitment.

SmartClip exists for homeowners who want real permanent smart lighting without the full channel investment — and for the situations where channel isn’t the right fit.

Budget-minded

The same lights and the same app as our permanent system, at a lower starting price. Nothing about the light itself is downgraded.

From $1,300 · ~30% less

Renting

Clips install without altering the fascia, so there’s nothing to explain to a landlord and nothing permanent left behind.

No fascia alteration

HOA-restricted

Low-profile clips tuck under the eaves with color-matched cable. From the street by day, there is very little to see.

Discreet by daylight

Moving soon

Not sure this is the forever house? The system can come with you rather than staying behind as someone else’s upgrade.

It can come with you
The patent moat

A mounting system other installers legally cannot offer.

SmartClip LED Lighting is installed with patented InvisiClips — a mounting system available only to certified authorized InvisiLights dealers like Sparkled. Made from UV-stable, impact-resistant plastic, SmartClips come in variants engineered for virtually any roofline — the same flexibility as traditional Christmas lights, but permanently installed with our RGBW smart LED pucks. Other permanent lighting installers literally cannot offer this system.

The patent

Patent-protected

The SmartClip system is patented by the owner of InvisiLights. No other permanent lighting company can legally install it.

The dealership

One of the first certified dealers

Sparkled Lighting is one of the first certified authorized InvisiLights dealers in the country — and the first dealer listed on InvisiLights’ own installer page.

The training

We teach the technique

Our founder is featured in InvisiLights’ national training program, teaching other installers across the country how to do this work correctly.

Syracuse, UT — one tap in the app, and the whole roofline is purple. SmartClip runs the identical RGBW pucks.
Nothing about the light changes

The lights are identical. Only the mounting is different.

The RGBW LED pucks, the controller and the app are the same hardware we install on a full permanent system. SmartClip is a different way to attach them — not a cheaper light.

  • Year-round smart lighting — accent, holiday, security, game day, or special occasion.
  • Premium RGBW LED lights — 16.7 million colors, a true white spectrum from a dedicated warm-white chip, and dozens of special effects.
  • Smartphone controlled app — myLights customizes and fully automates your lights your way.
  • Product & service warranty — IP68 water- and dust-proof hardware, with a 5-year SmartClip warranty.

Installed at our 12" pro spacing standard, the same as every other Sparkled service — so every bulb stays a distinct point of color instead of blurring into a streak.

West Point and a Utah roof peak, in daylight — color-matched cable against brown siding, and the same run in white.
What it looks like switched off

A low-profile line under the eave, not a light show.

SmartClips mount the way traditional Christmas light clips do, with the cable color-matched to your soffit. It doesn’t vanish the way aluminum channel does — that is honestly the trade — but from the street it reads as a service line, not decoration.

  • Color-matched cable — matched to the soffit or fascia it runs against.
  • UV-stable, impact-resistant plastic — the same proprietary material as InvisiLights’ “Best Clip,” so it doesn’t go brittle in the sun.
  • A clip for virtually any roofline — the SmartClip family covers the orientations a traditional Christmas light can be installed on, where other permanent systems struggle.
  • Nothing cut into the fascia — which is what makes it work for renters and HOA neighborhoods.

Want the version that disappears completely? That’s color-matched aluminum channel on our Permanent Christmas Lights.

Versus permanent channel ~30% less
Per linear foot, installed $17 – $21+

Where the saving comes from

Not the light. The RGBW pucks, the controller and the app are the same hardware we install on a full permanent system — the difference is patented clips instead of cut, color-matched aluminum channel, which is the expensive half of a permanent install.

Permanent runs $25–$30+ per linear foot; SmartClip runs $17–$21+. On a typical front-and-sides roofline that is roughly $1,500 back in your pocket for the same lights on the same house.

West Point, UT — SmartClips already installed along every roofline in this photo. The neighbor standing in front of it couldn't find them either.
The neighbor test

"So when do the lights go up?"

True story from this West Point install: while we were finishing up, a neighbor wandered over to chat and asked whether we'd be putting lights on the house — standing in front of a roofline that already had them. When we pointed at the clips, he had to step in close before he believed they were really there. That's the daytime footprint argument settled by an unpaid witness: from where a neighbor actually stands, SmartClip reads as no lights at all until you switch them on.

Think you'd have spotted them? Tap the photo and zoom in as close as you like — the clips are there, on every roofline.

What is SmartClip LED Lighting?
SmartClip LED Lighting is permanent smart lighting installed with patented InvisiClips instead of aluminum channel. The clips mount to your eaves the way traditional Christmas light clips do — but they hold the same premium RGBW LED pucks as our Permanent Christmas Lights, controlled from the same smartphone app, with 16.7 million colors and dozens of effects.
How is SmartClip different from Permanent Christmas Lights?
The hardware — the RGBW LED pucks, the controller, the app — is identical. The difference is the mounting. Permanent uses color-matched aluminum channel with fully concealed wiring and a lifetime warranty. SmartClip uses patented clips with color-matched cable and a 5-year warranty, at a lower price. If you want the install to disappear completely by day, choose Permanent; if you want the same smart lighting at an accessible price — or you rent, plan to move, or live under an HOA — SmartClip is built for you.
Why can’t other companies offer SmartClip?
The SmartClip mounting system is patented by the owner of InvisiLights, and only certified dealers can install it. Sparkled Lighting is one of the first certified dealers — the first listed on InvisiLights’ own installer page.
How much does SmartClip LED Lighting cost?
SmartClip runs $17–$21+ per linear foot installed — roughly 30% less than the same lights in permanent aluminum channel, which runs $25–$30+. A front-only roofline (80–120 ft) is $1,300–$2,500; a front-and-side or two-story (140–200 ft) is $2,500–$4,000; a full wrap (240–400+ ft) is $4,000–$8,500+. The controller and any jumps are itemized separately. See our pricing page for how the ranges work, then request a free onsite quote for an exact number.
Can SmartClip lights stay up year-round?
Yes. SmartClips are made from UV-stable, impact-resistant plastic — InvisiLights’ proprietary “Best Clip” material — and the RGBW pucks are IP68 waterproof and dustproof. Accent lighting in summer, team colors on game day, orange in October, full Christmas in December.
