Weighing JellyFish? Compare us first.
JellyFish made permanent lighting famous for color — and color is the easy part. Judge the two things that differ at the curb: the white, and the spacing. Then drive our app's live demo yourself.
Very happy with our new lighting! Highly recommend. Ryan walks you through the entire process.— melisa Williams, Northern Utah
What separates systems once the video ends.
JellyFish Lighting shows up in nearly every Utah search for good reason: the pattern reels look great. In person, two things separate systems more than any effects list. First, the white — RGB systems mix red, green and blue to fake it, and that white reads pastel next to real warm-white bulbs. Second, the spacing — bulbs packed tight blur into a lit strip, where the 12-inch commercial standard reads as individual bulbs, the way a professional install always has. Here is the full checklist for any demo you watch.

Don't compare videos. Compare curbs — and drive the app.
Pattern reels all look spectacular at thirty frames a second. Real comparisons happen at the curb: drive past an install at night and study the white, then again at noon and look for the hardware. Every photo in our gallery is a real Northern Utah address — ask us and we'll point you to installs near you.
Then test the part you'll actually touch every day: the app. Our live demo puts a virtual house under your thumb right now — displays, schedules, colors — with no salesperson steering the phone.

Is Sparkled Lighting a good alternative to JellyFish Lighting?
Yes — especially if you judge lighting with your eyes rather than a spec sheet. Sparkled installs RGBW bulbs with a dedicated true-white chip at the 12-inch commercial standard, so whites look like real Christmas lights and bulbs read individually from the street. It is the only UL Listed permanent system in the US and Canada, warrantied for life, with pricing published before you ever call.
How do Sparkled's prices compare to JellyFish Lighting?
We publish ours and let the demos compete: from $2,000 installed, with most Utah homes between $3,500 and $6,000. When you gather bids, line up identical footage and hardware — then go look at each system's white at night with your own eyes. That one check settles more comparisons than any price sheet.
What is the difference between RGB and RGBW white?
RGB systems fake white by running red, green and blue at once, and it tends to read pale blue or pastel — especially next to a neighbor's warm string lights. RGBW adds a fourth, dedicated white diode, so warm white looks like the incandescent glow everyone actually pictures. If you run one test at a demo, make it this one.
