30mm RGBW LED pucks
Individual bulbs at 12" spacing — 16.7 million RGB colors, 4.3 billion RGBW shades, and a dedicated warm-white chip for true white, not simulated white.
The lights, the channel, the app — how a year-round system actually works, from Utah's installer-trainer.

Permanent Christmas lights are LED lights installed once, professionally, that stay up year-round — individual RGBW bulbs recessed in a color-matched aluminum channel along your roofline, controlled from your phone. One install replaces every ladder trip you'd ever make: Christmas in December, team colors on game day, orange in October, soft accent lighting the rest of the year.
The pucks, the channel and the controller are installed once and then left alone. The fourth part lives in your pocket.

Matched to your trim so the system disappears by day. All wiring runs concealed inside it.
The brain of the system — schedules, effects and 150+ animations, on low-voltage 24V power.
The smartphone app — change colors instantly, automate schedules, run sunset-to-midnight without touching anything. Try the live demo.
Two details separate a premium install from a cheap one: bulb spacing (we use the 12" commercial standard so bulbs read as bulbs, not a light bar) and the channel and wiring work (concealed, color-matched, clean corners). Both are covered in depth on the Permanent Christmas Lights page — including published pricing. Weighing the investment? Read Are permanent Christmas lights worth it?

Permanent Christmas lights are professionally installed LED lights that stay on your home year-round. Individual RGBW LED pucks mount inside a color-matched aluminum channel along your roofline, wiring runs concealed inside the channel, and you control everything — colors, effects, schedules — from a smartphone app. By day the system reads as a clean trim line; by night it can be anything from subtle warm-white accent lighting to a full Christmas display.
The LEDs are rated for 50,000 hours. Run every night until midnight, that's on the order of 20–30 years of use, and Sparkled's permanent installs carry a lifetime product warranty — if an LED ever fails, we replace it.
Barely. The channel is color-matched to your trim — black, white, bronze, brown, gray, or a custom match — and the 30mm pucks sit recessed inside it. From the street it reads as trim, not as lights. See how color-matched channel works.
Sparkled installs a permanent lighting system that is UL Listed in the U.S. and Canada. The hardware is IP68 waterproof and dustproof, the channel is non-combustible aluminum, and the system runs on low-voltage 24V power with surge and shock protection at the control box plus a GFCI at the supply.
Sparkled installs start at $2,000, and most homes land between $3,500 and $6,000 depending on linear footage and roofline complexity. Full ranges and example scenarios are on the pricing page.
